Requirements

To rent with us, you must have:

  • A valid driver’s license

  • Full coverage auto insurance

Additional verification may be requested if needed.

You must be at least 21 years old to rent a vehicle with us.

We require a valid physical driver’s license, temporary permits are not accepted.

Payments

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.  We also do accept cashier’s checks, cash, and wire transfer in some cases but a credit card must be on file for the vehicle deposit and damage deposit.

We do not provide any refunds, returns or exchanges of any kind for any reason. Our goal is to provide you with world class service. If you have an issue of any kind during your rental please let us know so we can make appropriate arrangements.

Our damage and security deposits range from $500 to $10,000 depending on the class of vehicle. Deposits will be used to cover any excess mileage, damage to vehicle, gas, tolls, smoking, tickets, loss of use or any other costs incurred from the rental as agreed in the rental agreement.

All reservations are subject to Florida state tax of 6% and Orlando city tax of 0.5% for a total of 6.5%.

All our vehicles include our pre-activated toll transponder valid in 19 states. You will be charged for all tolls incurred during your rental period.

Deposits are typically refunded within 5–10 business days, but some banks may take up to 30 days to fully process the refund. Please check with your bank or card issuer for specific timelines.

Reservations
For all standard and premium vehicles, check-ins are 100% contactless unless otherwise specified.

To ensure a smooth check-in, please let us know:

  • How you’ll arrive at the vehicle’s location (e.g. Uber, personal car, walking, etc.)
  • Your estimated time of arrival
  • Vehicle Location: 101 Lake Ave, Orlando, FL 32801
  • Use the Trip Photos we send via text to help you locate the vehicle. Once you’ve found it, contact us so we can remotely unlock it for you. The key fob will be in the front cupholder.
  • You’re welcome to take pre-trip photos and videos of the vehicle for your records

To return the vehicle smoothly, please follow these steps:

  • Drive to the return location: 101 Lake Ave, Orlando, FL 32801

  • Refill the fuel to the same level it was provided (you may round to the nearest marker)

  • Leave all fuel receipts showing proof of correct fuel grade in the center console or glove compartment

  • Remove all personal belongings from the vehicle

  • If you rented extras (e.g. car seat or stroller), leave them inside the vehicle to avoid additional charges

  • Leave the key fob in the front cupholder where you originally found it

  • You’re welcome to take post-trip photos of the vehicle for your records

  • Text us once you’re done, and include:

    • A photo of the parked vehicle

    • The exact parking spot location

Once you notify us, we’ll remotely lock the vehicle for you.

Each vehicle comes with their own set of miles. Unlimited miles can be purchased as an add-on for each reservation.

We offer convenient delivery to a number of preset destinations listed below and custom destinations up to 50 miles from our location. Pricing includes delivery and pickup. Our team will pickup the vehicle from the same location your vehicle was delivered.

Yes, same day booking is available depending on availability.

Driving on a race track is NOT allowed under any circumstances.

No. Smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited under all circumstances. A smoking fee of $250 and up will be charged for any violations.

All vehicles must remain within the state of Florida. Out-of-state travel is NOT allowed.

No. At this time, guests are limited to one active rental at a time.

You can rent a vehicle for as little as 1 day or up to a maximum of 30 days. Rentals are capped at 30 days to allow for routine maintenance and inspections.

Guests may request to add extra drivers for an additional fee. All additional drivers must meet the required license and insurance requirements. Please note that only the primary guest is permitted to pick up and return the vehicle.

Yes. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level it had at the start of the rental. If not, we will charge $9.99 per gallon plus a $20 convenience fee for refueling.

Yes, upgrades may be available at check-in, depending on availability. However, all insurance requirements must be satisfied before an upgrade can be approved.

No. The primary driver must be the one to make the reservation and meet all rental requirements.

Each vehicle in our fleet is one of a kind, selected for its unique style, performance, and features. Pricing is determined by the specific make and model, rental duration, seasonal demand, and any premium packages or custom enhancements that set the car apart.

Yes. Our rental agreement must be signed before the keys are handed over. This ensures that all terms and conditions are clearly understood and agreed upon.

Yes. You can extend your rental as long as there are no conflicting reservations.
Shortening your trip is also possible, but please note that a refund is not guaranteed for unused time or days.

At RICE MOTORS, all vehicles are thoroughly washed and sanitized before every rental to ensure a clean and safe experience for our clients.

Violating the rental agreement may result in additional fees, early termination of your rental, and possible ban from future rentals. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Smoking or vaping in the vehicle (smoking fee of $250 and up)

  • Unauthorized pets (cleaning/damage fees may apply)

  • Reckless or unsafe driving (may result in full loss of deposit and termination of your rental)

We take these policies seriously to ensure the safety and quality of our fleet for all guests. Please see Guidelines.

Yes. All vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking for safety purposes, to help prevent reckless driving, unauthorized use, and to assist in vehicle recovery if necessary.

You are not required to bring your own insurance if you purchase our Third Party Travel Insurance Plan to cover the vehicle during your rental period. Otherwise, you are required to provide your own insurance with appropriate policy limits.

Refunds & Cancellations

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we appreciate your understanding with respect to our cancellation policy.

For vehicle rentals, our Cancellation Policy is the only avenue for refunds. We do not offer refunds for any items purchased including, but not limited to, merchandise, apparel, accessories, and/or gift cards.

Refunds & cancellations

Emergency and Safety

We recommend taking the following steps should you get involved in an accident:

  1. Remain calm and make sure everyone involved is safe. Do not admit fault or no fault.
  2. Call the police to report the accident.
  3. Exchange contact and insurance information with the other driver(s).
  4. Take pictures and videos of the scene of the accident, if possible.
  5. Contact your insurance provider to begin the claims process.
  6. Contact us and inform us of the accident.
  7. Follow the instructions of the police, RICE MOTORS, and insurance provider.

If the customer is issued a traffic ticket while driving our vehicle, they are responsible for the ticket. This includes, but is not limited to, traffic and parking violations such as speeding tickets, reckless driving citations, and/or parking tickets.

The ticket’s legal and financial responsibility will be legally transferred over to the primary vehicle operator listed in the rental agreement. Therefore, they are responsible for any fines or penalties associated with the ticket.

It is important for customers to remember that they are responsible for any traffic tickets they may receive while operating our vehicles. It is also important to note that they should drive responsibly and follow all applicable laws while operating the rental vehicle. We do not accept any liability from traffic violations and tickets. We hope that this information helps our clients make the right decisions while driving our vehicles and that they can enjoy the experience without worry.

We take great lengths on servicing and maintain our fleet. Our vehicles are regularly and meticulously maintained. Our fleet is guaranteed issue-free. Should you experience any vehicle malfunctions or mechanical issues, please contact us immediately. Our team will handle all vehicle and reservation arrangements. This includes providing you with an alternate vehicle for the remainder of your booking.

We will thoroughly investigate any reported vehicle malfunctions or mechanical issues. As long as the issue is not caused by the customer, all arrangements will be free of charge. However, if the customer is found to be responsible for the vehicle malfunction or mechanical issue, the remainder of the reservation will be cancelled without refund and they will be held liable for any damages.

Customers are not authorized to repair our vehicles or provide our vehicles to any shop for repair without our express written consent. Please refrain attempting any repairs on your own.
