Roadside Assistance

For an active rental, contact RICE MOTORS as soon as a mechanical, tire, battery, lockout, accident, or roadside issue occurs.

If there is immediate danger

Move to a safe location if possible and call 911 for an emergency, injury, fire, collision hazard, or unsafe roadway condition. Do not remain in a dangerous traffic position to protect the vehicle.

Contact RICE MOTORS

Call +1 (833) 777-RICE (7423). Provide your name, reservation, exact location, vehicle condition, warning messages, and photos or video when safe to do so.

Do not

  • Do not continue driving if the vehicle may be unsafe
  • Do not arrange unauthorized repairs
  • Do not allow an unauthorized tow operator to take possession of the vehicle unless safety requires immediate removal
  • Do not abandon the vehicle without instructions

Flat tire or wheel damage

Stop driving if a tire is flat, losing pressure rapidly, or the wheel is damaged. Continuing to drive can create additional damage that may become the renter's responsibility.

Battery or EV concern

For EVs, notify us before the battery reaches a critical state. For a 12-volt battery or starting issue, contact us before attempting a jump unless immediate safety requires otherwise.

After an accident

Call emergency services when appropriate, exchange required information, document the scene, avoid admitting fault, and contact RICE MOTORS immediately. Follow the incident-report instructions in your client portal or rental documents.
