Smoking, vaping, marijuana smoke, cigars, cigarettes, and other smoke or odor-producing use are prohibited in every RICE MOTORS vehicle.
Rental Rules
Rental Guidelines
These standards protect the vehicle, the renter, and the next client. Your signed rental agreement controls if any term differs from this general guide.
Approved drivers only
Only the renter and drivers specifically approved on the reservation may operate the vehicle. No lending, sub-renting, rideshare use, or commercial passenger use is permitted unless expressly approved in writing.
Responsible use
- •No racing, drifting, burnouts, launches, track use, reckless driving, or speed contests
- •No towing or pushing another vehicle unless expressly approved
- •No off-road use unless the vehicle and agreement specifically permit it
- •Observe all traffic laws, parking restrictions, and toll requirements
Fuel and charging
Return the vehicle at the agreed fuel or EV charge level and use only the required fuel grade. Incorrect fuel, depleted batteries, or avoidable charging recovery may result in fees and repair responsibility.
Cleanliness
Normal use is expected. Excessive trash, stains, spills, pet hair, sand, mud, odor, biohazards, or detailing beyond a normal turnaround may result in additional cleaning charges.
Return condition
Return the vehicle on time, at the agreed location, with keys, accessories, charging equipment, toll devices, and other supplied items. Notify us before changing the return time or location.
Mechanical concerns
Stop and contact RICE MOTORS if you see a warning light, overheating, tire-pressure alert, unusual noise, impact, leak, or other condition that could make continued driving unsafe or cause damage.
Pets and special use
Ask before transporting pets, oversized cargo, equipment, production gear, or anything that could damage the interior or exterior. Approval may depend on the vehicle.
